Choose your veterinarian as carefully as you would your family doctor or dentist.

Good veterinarians take the time to advise, reassure and console you. They are available and can be reached by phone. They keep up with the latest developments in the field by attending lectures and conferences.

If necessary, they will refer you to a specialist. The veterinarians' facilities are clean and well-equipped, and you may tour them if you like. It is such veterinarians who will earn your trust and keep it.

Preventive medicine

• A general check-up once a year for young cats; twice a year for older animals;

• Two stool exams a year;

• Vaccinations once a month until 4 months, then once a year;

• An annual dental exam.

Curative medicine

The earlier a problem is detected, the easier it is to resolve. At the first signs of illness in your pet, see your veterinarian without delay.
